End of the world in 2012?
Monday, January 21st, 2008I watched Lost Book of Nostradamus over the weekend (Jan 20, 2008). One of the interesting prophecy showed a Nostradamus’s drawing of 13th zodiac sign and the alignment of the Sun with the Center of the center of the galaxy. The show also said this event will be preceded by multiple eclipses. This reminded of Mayan calendar, who believe we live in 5th Sun and it will end in December 21, 2012. Mayan believe earth goes through a rebirth cycle of 5,125 years and in last cycle earth was destroyed by Great Flood. In their calendar, a galactic day of 25,625 years is divided into five cycles of 5,125 years. In 2012 the plane of our Solar System will line up exactly with the plane of our Galaxy, the Milky Way.
Another prediction about 2012 is that Earth’s poles will be reversed and north will become south. There are similar prophecies in Islamic tradition about reversal of east and west and prediction of multiple eclipses before end of the world.
It is very likely, humans have been going through this cycle of destruction. There are plenty of strong evidence that Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx were created by ancient civilization. In fact, some analysis of Sphinx revealed it was built more than 10,000 years ago. For example, Fingerprints of the Gods talks about relationship of pyramids and Orion star constellation. The , Heaven’s Mirror talks about various temples that mimic various stars constellation. Some scholars think that Mayans were descendants of ancient Atlantians and learned about mathematics and astronomy from Quetzalcoatl. Edward Cacye thought that Atlantis was buried under Atlantic ocean. Unfortunately, much of the past knowledge was destroyed in the Great Deluge and destruction of Alexandrian and Baghdad’s libraries. We have been disconnected from our past and history. Some scientists believe scrolls of ancient knowledge are buried beneath Sphinx’s right foot which is hollow inside. May be that can reveal knowledge about past civilizations.
Based on String theory, physicists think that our universe does not just four dimension, but has 10 or 26 dimensions. In our world, time is linear, but in other dimensions past, present and future may be mingle together. I think some people have innate ability to tune into those dimensions and see the future. There are also prophecies in religious books about war, famine and natural disasters before the end of the world. There are plenty of evidence for those in our current time. When I look at the world affairs, I find Two million Iraqis have been killed, and over 1.5 people in Gaza have lost power and dying of hunger and disease. This will be our legacy to the next generation if they survive. These prophecies are showing where we are heading. However, I don’t think the future is set in stone, I believe prophecies and fate are a kind of AI neural networks or decision tree algorithms that predict future based on our current actions and our future can change if we change our present.
